1. Electronics Embedded Engineer

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka or Tokyo, Japan (Remote options available)
Type: Full-Time

About the Role
As an Electronics Embedded Engineer at Kawdoco, you’ll design, develop, and test embedded systems for applications ranging from IoT devices to smart solutions in retail and industrial settings. You’ll work on exciting projects such as our smart sensor rings and advanced tracking systems for logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded systems using microcontrollers and SoCs.
• Develop firmware in C/C++ and Python to control electronic systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded systems with web-based applications.
• Test, troubleshoot, and improve existing designs.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, ESP32).
• Proficiency in embedded programming languages (C/C++/Python).
• Knowledge of electronic design, circuit analysis, and debugging.
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART) and wireless technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS IoT Core, CI/CD processes, and MySQL is a plus.

Qualifications

2. Backend Full-Stack Engineer

Location: Tokyo, Japan or Remote (with global collaboration)

About the Role
As a Backend Full-Stack Engineer at Kawdoco, you’ll be responsible for building, testing, and deploying scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices to support our IoT platforms and smart systems. You’ll work across our backend systems and collaborate on front-end projects for a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP, Python, and MySQL.
• Create and manage APIs for data integration with IoT devices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on responsive applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment.
• Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in backend languages (PHP, Python) and MySQL databases.
• Experience with front-end technologies (Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap).
• Knowledge of cloud services, especially AWS, for scalable infrastructure.
