Founder Story

Kawdoco was founded by Susara Thenuwara, an accomplished engineer and visionary in the field of artificial intelligence and technology. Susara's journey began at the University of Moratuwa, where he developed a strong foundation in software engineering and AI, sparking his lifelong dedication to technological innovation. After obtaining his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, he pursued a PhD at the renowned AICOLab at the University of Tokyo.

During his time at the University of Tokyo, Susara contributed significantly to the field of AI, authoring multiple publications in high-impact journals. His research, focusing on AI-driven biometric authentication systems and real-world applications, established him as an expert in advanced AI solutions. Through his studies and professional experience, Susara recognized the potential of AI, IoT, and software development to drive meaningful change across industries, inspiring him to establish Kawdoco in 2007.
